Just a brief note: Tyler woke up for the first time yesterday around 2200 (the 1st time he was actually talking and coherent that is). He was thirsty and then he asked about some icecream... so I drove up to Wendys (at the end of our road) and got him a chocolate shake and a few more sierra mists.

Came home and he ate his shake and we talked for about an hour. I gave him his medicines, switched out the ice packs and had him lay back down. We watched the videos I took and it was funny because that's the most we've talked this week. LOL Woke him back up around 0330 and gave him his meds again...

He was up around 0700 this morning and he looks great. A little pain but nothing like yesterday and very little swelling (his cheeks are a little puffy but very minimal swelling). I have to run and get a water bottle or a heating pad to start him on that in a few hours.

Overall, things went great. I made him eat a pudding this morning and drink some water (as he really hasn't had anything substantial to eat or drink since the night before last). He's up in his room with his ice packs and his macbook... but he said he's going to come back down later and sleep in my bed. :)

So, for now, I'm going to go take a shower, clean up a little and get something to drink myself (an energy drink I think). I love you so much Tyler!

PS The picture above where he's little was when he lost his second tooth. :) If I recall correctly, that was March 1998 (I remember b/c we were up visiting Jimmy in Greensboro looking for an apartment to rent... it was the first tooth he lost when he was with me). :) God son, I love you so much.
